In January 1968 Ustads Zahiruddin Dagar and Faiyazuddin visited their relative Ustad Z.M. Dagar, the great beenkar in Chembur. They are the younger brothers of the famous Dagar Brothers Ustads Moinuddin and Aminuddin Dagar and were known as the Junior Dagar Brothers.
On the 19th they spontaneously started singing Multani in Ustad’s house. After a wonderful alap of one hour Ustad sat down at the tablas to vigorously accompany them in pakhawaj style. A great, unique recording of Dhrupad music.
