A prequel to their forthcoming LP, this highly limited 7" features two striking live performances by the Swedish piano/sax duo. On side A, there's John Lurie's smoky "It Could Have Been Very, Very Beautiful," which unfolds like a late-night confession, its aching melody paired with a Ravel-tinged accompaniment, drifting in ethereal resonance before giving way to stunning improvisations. Flip to the B-side, and you'll find the serene patience of "If I (Tålamod)," with its breathless beauty.
