Obscure Amulets is the solo project from American composer and violinist Hilary Davis, crafting haunting string arrangements and ambient electronic textures that create worlds for listeners to lose themselves in. The song “Incantations” from her debut EP is remixed by Swedish composer Slim Vic. With pulsing rhythms and intriguing effects, the song is transformed into a downtempo, melodic modern classical piece for both eclectic dancefloors and relaxed lounge listening.
