STHLM svaga plays jazz and free jazz music quietly. Their remarkable sound has led to collaborations with some of the most legendary icons in the history of jazz. This album features commissioned pieces – written especially for the band – by Archie Shepp, Roscoe Mitchell, and Ron Carter (with Carter guiding the ensemble in the studio).
