The concept is simple, though the approach is rare today. The drums first record a full-length groove, shaping the form with intro, dynamic peak, outro and ending. Each instrument is then overdubbed one by one in a single take. First the guitar, bass, percussion and another guitar, creating a live feel and organic swing.
